As the only DJ this decade to play Brooke Valentine, we hold a special place in our hearts for Brenmar. His new mix for Dummy, Slow Grind, Deep Hustle Vol. 2, is deep in that zone, miraculously featuring Scott Storch’s remix of “Cater 2 U,” the gutsy transition from Dirty Money to Danity Kane and a 702 song that is not “Where My Girls At?”. In a brief interview with Dummy for the mix, Brenmar says he is working on a number of songs with vocalists; with luck they’ll all sound like they are from 1998-2003.
