Video: Chief Keef f. Lil Reese, “I Don’t Like”

Just as Chief Keef released a promising snippet from his upcoming collaborative mixtape with Soulja Boy, his videos for "3hunna" and "Bang" each crested one million views on YouTube. His latest video from his Back from the Dead mixtape, entitled "I Don't Like," is more than a quarter of the way to that number, in under ten days. "I Don't Like" might not be the most lyrically-oriented hip-hop ever created, but it's also an incessantly hypnotic, and perhaps the most outright-catchy song the artist has yet released. The video itself, by DGainz, is an iconic one. There's an ugliness captured by both Keef's music and the visual, both products of a particularly violent American subculture. But DGainz also captures something else; the video is brimming with the joyous enthusiasm of confident, youthful masculinity and camaraderie.
