With the release of new albums by E-40, DB Tha General and the NhT Boyz, it's been a big week for Bay Area rap. But perhaps the most exciting bit to emerge from the scene was a tweet by SMC entertainment, which indicated that a new album from Mob Figaz member Husalah, entitled MOB Maniac, will arrive this summer. Big news for fans who've been awaiting album-length new material from the rapper since his release from prison two years ago. This week, Hus released a new song alongside B-Luv. The duo dropped a record together back in 2008 as The Tonka Boyz, which included canonical Hus tracks like "Laid Back Slap" and "Cuttin It Up." "Reppin 4 Da Cuddie" features an unusually subdued Hus verse, and a strong guest spot from Roach Gigz.
