Punk frontwoman turned solo pop artist, Catherine Kelleher, who now records as Catcall, is at long last readying her debut LP, The Warmest Place, first with a video for “The World Is Ours” and now releasing “Paralysed.” The latter track, in particular, makes great use of a breezy, electro-less throwback sound, like a soundtrack for some imaginary Alicia Silverstone runway scene or your after-class happy walk to buy strawberry soft-serve. The Warmest Place, comes out May 4th on Australia’s Ivy League; a US release is planned for later this year.
