Feva, the Kansas City rapper behind one of the year’s best double-albums, recently dropped the video for “Cavi N My Coogi,” a throwback California slap that could cause involuntary body-rocking when paired with the right weather. One of the most refreshing things about this scene is how it seems to have completely bypassed recent developments in street rap from the south, without losing any of its edge in the process.
