Possibly the weirdest thing about this remix of Kirko Bangz’ “Drank In My Cup” is the filter on 2 Chainz’ voice, which makes him sound like a robot in the distance. It’s a bizarre inclusion, but it lends itself to the druggy vibe of the whole track. When 2 Chainz raps Take your mind, elevate, it’s not like he’s becoming a conscious rapper, you know? Juelz Santana also makes a subdued appearance here, which is always an exciting prospect, even when he doesn’t sound audilbly overjoyed by the sound of his own voice.
