Richmond, CA native and current Bay Area studio rat IamSu has churned out releases on Bandcamp since 2010, but he's made the huge leap to radio this year, producing and writing the hook for LoveRance's ubiquitous vagina ballad "Up!" The endearing, constantly-cracking vocals on "Cancelled Plans," a single from IamSu's new mixtape, KILT, give us just a taste of the other stellar tracks from that release, which you can preview here. Better still, watch IamSu's homespun advertisement for the tape (which is out next Tuesday), a couple minutes of him dancing in his bedroom to Pharrel William's "Take it Off (Dim the Lights)."
