Since temperatures keep rising and long, tight pants just feel confining, we spent the weekend scouring thrift stores, boutiques and major chains for a pair of perfect men's shorts and were entirely unsuccessful. We'd like to look slightly more dressed up than if we were just rocking a pair of frayed cut-offs that we made ourselves, but too many of the options available from stores billow in the wrong places or hang unflatteringly low down on the knee. Luckily, we found five online that we think are a perfect fit, and while a couple of them are more like bathing suits than proper shorts, the eternal summer look is one that we're hoping to rock all season and sometimes the perfect swim suit worn with a button down or tank top can look as sharp as a pair of khakis.
