London and Brighton's great four-piece, Fear of Men, have returned with a new single, a 7-inch split of "Green Sea" and "Born." Thankfully, they follow the same jangly sound and tragic trajectory as last year's standout ode to stalled love, "Doldrums," with lyrics just as casually delivered and affecting. "Born" is soothing, tangling heavy metaphors of birth, death and sex without sounding overly stressed about any of the three. The single comes out in a limited run of white vinyl on June 18th via Sexbeat, and it's up for preorder now.
