Jay-Z and Kanye West already have a video not for the faint of heart under their belt with the epilepsy-trigging clip for “Niggas in Paris” but the third Watch the Throne clip, “No Church in the Wild” has its own brand of discomfort. If its raid theme gives you flashbacks to M.I.A.’s video for “Born Free,” that’s because the visuals were created by the same director, Romain Gavras. It’s heavy, Occupy-timely and features molotov cocktails but not any appearances from Jay, West or Frank Ocean whose vocals masterfully soundtrack the apocalyptic scenes.
