2 Chainz and Passion Pit demolished their respective sets last night at Seattle's vitaminwater uncapped concert, held at the barn-like Emerald City Trapeze Arts Studio. With equal parts fervor and ferocity, they sent an adoring audience spinning across the venue floor, to bars stocked with vitaminwater and Heineken.

Prior to the artists' victories, though, DJ 100 Proof played a great warm-up set, a particularly hard-hitting stretch of which included Slim Thug's "3 Kings," T.I.'s "Rubber Band Man," and David Banner's "Like A Pimp" played in succession. By the time the night's host Miss Info brought out current FADER cover star 2 Chainz, people were all too ready to turn up, and turn up they did. 2 Chainz, accompanied by longtime Chicago associate Cap 1, was dressed in all white, save for some vintage, yellow gold jewelry. He danced hard and rapped harder, taking the crowd through mixtape classics like "Turn Up" and "Riot" and reveling in newer material like his Kanye West collaboration, "Mercy" and new single, "No Lie," the second verse of which he rapped a capella. The most props go out to the gentleman, a dead ringer for Anthony Michael Hall in the Breakfast Club, who kept his Ray-Bans on as he pantomimed the whole of 2 Chainz' set nearly flawlessly.

Later, Passion Pit showered the crowd with their own formidable collection of hits, performing new track "I'll Be Alright" and throwing audience members who'd pushed up front from the back of the room into spastic glee. Michael Angelakos opened hearts with "The Reeling," then prompted slow grinding with "Constant Conversations." By the time the synth of finale "Little Secrets" splashed through the crowd, romance was imminent and the stage left in embers.
