All Tomorrow’s Parties Moves to New York

July 13, 2012

This year's All Tomorrow's Parties I'll Be Your Mirror Festival, curated by Greg Dulli and originally set for Asbury Park, New Jersey, has been moved to Pier 36 in New York, an indoor venue in Manhattan with waterfront views, and will be held September 21-23. The lineup will include Dulli's recently reunited Afghan Whigs, FADER #79 cover star Philip Glass with Tyondai Braxton, The Roots, Demdike Stare, Factory Floor, Emeralds and The Oh Sees. Louis CK, originally scheduled for Jersey, has dropped off the bill due to a scheduling conflict. Check out photos from Afghan Whigs' first West Coast show since getting back together, where they played a Frank Ocean cover, here. Tyondai Braxton reflects on the influence of Philip Glass, with whom he'll perform at ATP, here.
