Video: Bat For Lashes, "Laura"

On a recent international flight, Bat For Lashes’ "Daniel" played on the menu screen of the in-flight movie player. Every time I finished a movie, it came on—a looping reminder that Natasha Khan is really good at making the kind of epically melancholy tracks that wouldn't seem out of place if they randomly started playing while you bawled your eyes out. "Laura," another song titled after someone's name, is not very much like "Daniel." It's spare and sits squarely on the strength of Khan's voice. The Haunted Man will be out October 23rd on Capitol.
