William Richard Green’s Grey and Black Polka Dots

July 24, 2012

Maybe it's just Yayoi Kusama-mania sweeping the city because of her Whitney Museum retrospective, but lately, we've been fiending for dots almost as much as the High Priestess of Polka Dots herself. British streetwear designer William Richard Green is certainly no stranger to polka dots either and he's carrying them through to spring 2013. The deconstructed dot, cut from a jersey sweater like a pock mark, might be our favorite look (the cut-out dot was also a theme Henrik Vibskov's recent show), but Green also has us wondering if we have the nerve to pull off a completely spotted two-piece suit.
