At the tail-end of a summer downpour last week, we met up with Jonny Ollsin and Kim Krans, the husband and wife duo behind Family Band, for an Open Bar session at Union Pool in Brooklyn. Family Band's music is straight-up enchanting, like a magic eye without a hidden image to find, just the joy of searching indefinitely. It's the type of stuff that's best to listen to sitting down, preferably on a cold floor, cross-legged with your eyes shut.
