Video: Black Moth Super Rainbow, “Windshield Smasher”

August 07, 2012

At first, it seems like director Bo Mirosseni is taking a literal approach to Pittsburgh synth screwballs Black Moth Super Rainbow’s "Windshield Smasher." When the bat-wielding menaces show up in their terrifying orange masks, however, they're more concerned with grooming and force-feeding birthday cake to their victims than actually breaking glass. Bizarrely but awesomely, the latex masks in the clip are also for sale via the Kickstarter campaign that funded Black Moth's upcoming Cobra Juicy LP, out October 9th on their own Rad Cult label and available for preorder here.
