Stream: Danny Brown, “Change”

Danny Brown cooly reflects on new success and old friends on “Change,” the bongo-backed track from Danny Johnson, an album made in collaboration with Johnson & Jonson (rapper Blu and producer Mainframe, who worked with Brown on his tape The Hybrid), dropping “soon” via New World Color. Expect even more from Brown this month: Scion AV announced that they’ll release a new EP from Danny and his Bruiser Brigade crew next week. (Brown released “Grown Up” with Scion back in March.) Stream “Change” below, followed by FADER TV’s Hybrid-era interview with Brown.

  1. frank_bE says:

you guys are such clowns some times. this isn’t new. it was recorded before Danny blew up when he first moved to LA and was rollin’ with Blu when he had first signed to the major. Danny actually released the whole album on his tumblr early last year, so it’s not him reflecting on any fame being that he had yet to blow up when he recorded it

  2. frank’s right, although calling people “clowns” is kind of rude. c’mon, frank.
