The Starship Connection, the funk band created by instrumentalist Teeko and SF producer/Frite Nite label founder B. Bravo, have rounded the sharp edges of Mark Ronson and D’Angelo’s 2010 collaboration “Glass Mountain Trust,” with the blessing of both Ronson and D’Angelo’s camps. The duo’s debut EP of squelchy, digital gushy stuff is out now; if you’re in Seattle, you can catch them opening for Erykah Badu and her awesome electronic jam band The Cannabinoids next weekend at Decibel.
