There's something charming in Lazy Magnet’s homemade, everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach. Maybe it's the horn stabs, or the way the synths shift to just being slightly off key, or maybe it's how the track skirts hushed intimacy, like it was recorded in a closet, every sound tinier than it's meant to be.
