There's a point in this video—which is mostly just The Babies’ Cassie Ramone doing karaoke of her own song—where the camera swerves behind her and suddenly she's backlit like she's standing in front of hundreds of thousands of people. It's a great moment because it's a direct shift from ramshackle and homemade, to something much bigger. It's that feeling that is important to The Babies' Our House On The Hill, an album that takes rock music very seriously and internalizes it and then spits it back out without any pretense, and "Baby" captures that feeling so well in just a couple minutes.
