Swedish four-piece Death in the Afternoon’s sophomore album is called Kino, meaning cinema, also a fair descriptor for the emotional synth track halfway through it, "Tricks." It's easy to imagine the song soundtracking a steely night drive ending in a desperate embrace, the hero rousing his love from bed for one last goodbye. It's really stirring. Kino is out now.
