Bot'Ox have big plans for 2013. The French duo, consisting of French Touch luminary Cosmo Vitelli and Julian Briffaz, is set to release six thematically-linked EPs over the next year. Basement Love, the first in the series, was released December 10 on I'm A Cliche. On the title track, gloomy guest vocals from jOHNNYDANGEROUs are mixed with sinister arpeggiated synths and sparse, unhurried dub percussion. The result is definitely somber, yet somehow still groovy. Stream it below. The EP also contains three remixes of the track.
