No idea what’ll happen in part two, but for now, here’s the San Fernando Valley’s own analog electronics wiz SFV Acid’s “As Is,” a downtempo, vaguely robotic track with warm pads of intermittent synth. The video echoes the sound and surroundings in which the music was made, in the sense that just about every shot is relentlessly dedicated to relaxing and chilling out to funny and potentially unsettling extremes. Did you know that’s what you do everywhere in California no matter what? Now you know. Neighborhood Archives is out now on UNO.
