The Embassy, the Swedish indie gods (to me at least) whose summer-2011 return and subsequent teases have had many seriously hankering for a proper new LP, finally announced that one is, indeed, on the way. Sweet Sensation, The Embassy's first new album since 2005, will be self-released on February 26th via the duo's own International label (and not their longtime home Service, as was once planned). They haven't missed a step, with Embassy-standard high-stepping disco bass, bird calls, jangly guitar strums and more of the snidest, realest vocal deliveries ever. This year's gonna be alright after all.
