Stream: Alan Braxe, "One More Chance" + Memory Tapes Remix

The latest free single courtesy of automaker-turned-music-commissioner Scion A/V (who stirred some deserved ire last year by censoring their Danny Brown release) comes from French house stalwart Alan Braxe, a man destined to be introduced forever as one third of the trio that made "Music Sounds Better with You" but, foremost in my mind, the name behind this incredible LP. With cooing vocals by The Spimes, those iconic fat snares and trademark pads over everything, it's definitely a new song by Alan Braxe, and that's always cause for checking out, no matter the source. Next month, Braxe will release, via Scion, a four-track Moments in Time EP, along with seven remixes. New Jersey's Memory Tapes is one of the remixers, and his take is below, weirdening up the vocals a bit and maybe not for the better. Downloads of "One More Chance" will be available tomorrow.
