Police confirm that Rick Ross was driving a Rolls Royce that was shot at before crashing into an apartment building early this morning in Fort Lauderdale. Nearby businesses were hit by bullets, WSVN reports, but no one was injured by gunfire or in the crash. No shooter has been identified; police are currently gathering surveillance footage from the scene. Rick Ross celebrated his 37th birthday Sunday. While the incidents may be unrelated, Ross was repeatedly threatened in videos by members of the gang Gangster Disciples late last year. In December, Ross cancelled several tour dates in the South, but denied reports he did so in response to threats, telling Miami's 99 Jamz that he, "canceled the rest of the tour due to the promoter really not handling his business.”
