Watch Ezra Koenig on Girls

Vampire Weekend frontman and current FADER cover star Ezra Koenig played a bit part on last night's episode of HBO's Girls, flanking recurring character Booth Jonathan (played by Jorma Taccone) at an art party and reciting a single diss: "I've seen you cry, like, six or seven times." (Coincidentally, Taccone's character is talking about how Marina Abramović made him cry, paying homage to 2010's best Tumblr.) Koenig's cameo confirmed, earlier than anticipated, FADER editor in chief Matthew Schnipper's guess that an appearance by the band on the show seemed "inevitable." Check back here soon for FADER's Vampire Weekend cover story; the band's third album, Modern Vampires of the City , drops in May.
