In case you slept on it when it came out on Silt Breeze last year, Fire Records is giving Blank Realm's excellently frazzled Go Easy LP a second life in 2013. The Brisbane, Australia four-piece hasn't exactly strayed from its roots in meandering improv, but they've done a good job of balancing it out with some good old fashioned songwriting. Like "Cleaning Up My Mess," the title cut weaves scream-sung, male-female vocals and unwieldy rock instrumentals into a perfectly lackadaisical slacker epic. Look for the reissue this week in the UK, and May 14th in the States.
