The FADER FORT Presented by Converse, our four day SXSW party at 1101 E. 5th Street in Austin, will begin next Wednesday, March 13th. For those who can’t join us in Texas, there will be a live stream of the entire show on TheFADER.com, powered by Dell.
Entry is free, but to get in you must be 21+, RSVP now and pick up a wristband in Texas. SXSW badge-holders will also need to RSVP and pick up wristbands to enter the FORT, but will be given priority access on a first come, first serve basis. RSVP confirmation emails will be sent on Monday, March 11th. Wristband pickup information will be also be posted here on Monday.
Media, please send all RSVP requests to pr@thefader.com for credential approval. You must include the attending journalist’s full name, outlet name, photo and/or video needs as well as a link to publication in your request.
Future, Solange, Trinidad Jame$, Disclosure, Delorean, Schoolboy Q, DIIV, Katie Got Bandz and many more will perform. Follow FADER on Twitter for lineup announcements throughout the week; the full FORT lineup and schedule will be posted here on Friday, March 8th.

How about you guys stop emailing me if the RSVP is closed? I’ve gotten 2 emails from you guys asking me to RSVP but the link is either broken or the list is closed. Fuck off if it’s closed or fix it if it’s broken.

I tried to RSVP for the event and it wasn’t working then I tried it again and it’s saying its closed… Wtf?!!

The RSVP closing so quickly is BS!! If it’s first come first server, then why does it matter how many RSVPs you get? Why close it?

I did receive the email at like 7pm which was pretty dumb.I was watching twitter and fader websites like a hawk. I was clicking the rsvp link every minute and I got in when the server went back up. I signed up all my friends and plus one. I cant wait for this year. For those of you who didnt get in, I’m sure some of the people who rsvp with a plus one might not show up and you can always ask people to be their plus one. Its pretty friendly each year.
How is the RSVP closed, you still have to wait in line to get into the events, it’s not a guaranteed entrance? Also are you sure that everyone who signed up is 21 or over?

tried to rsvp the minute i got the email and it had errors when i tried rsvp’ing right away.my friends also tried at the same time. The it crashed and was down for maintenence then closed. Not cool!!!

I was listening to xm radio on my way home, heard about the great FaderFort, got home, told my wife about Friday’s line up, got on line and it’s already closed. We will brng two dozen tamales for 2 wristbands…
