Update 3/29/2012: Lil Wayne says epilepsy was the cause of his March hospitalization, in an interview with LA radio station Power 106, his first since the incident:

The bad news is I’m an epileptic, I’m prone to seizures. Like this isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, ya’ll just never hear about them. But this time it got real bad ’cause I had three of them in a row and on the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent. Basically, I could’ve died… But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself…I actually have [seizures] so much [people around me] already know what to do. They already know how to handle it. Certain times I don’t even go to the hospital, but this time, it was real bad because it was three in a row, and I’ve never had three back to back like that.

Wayne's statements are consistent with Birdman's previous report that Wayne's hospitalization "didn’t have nothing to do with drugs" and that, for Wayne and the YMCMB team, seizures are "something we have to live with and maintain."

Previously: In the below video, filmed Wednesday night and sent to TMZ, the site that misreported his near-death a week ago, Lil Wayne says that, following hospitalization for seizures, he's feeling "more than good," still planning to release his "bum ass" album next Tuesday and will tour with T.I. this summer:

I want all y'all to know that I'm good. A nigga more than good. Also my bum ass album still coming out March 26th. I Am Not a Human Being II…Also I'm still going on tour with some of my closest friends in the game…Kiss my fist nigga, Tunechi. I'm more than good, but thank you, for real.

The tour, titled America's Most Wanted, will begin July 5th, according to the TMZ video's guest star T.I., who said, "Get you some barbecue on fourth, come holla at us on the fifth." Last week, T.I., YMCMB label boss Mack Maine and Wayne's daughter Reginae all criticized TMZ for their since-deleted report that Wayne was in a coma and receiving "last rites."

This morning, Wayne also released a video for IANAHM II track "Rich As Fuck" featuring 2 Chainz, where Wayne boasts having xanax, percocet, promethazine with codeine. Watch the video at MTV.
