Stream: Hurts, "Blind (Frankie Knuckles Remix)"

Earth's probably best pop duo Hurts still haven't released their sophomore album Exile in the States—it came out via Sony in March in their native England—though this new remix of its second single should buy them plenty of goodwill. Courtesy of Frankie Knuckles, the Chicago pioneer commonly referred to as the "godfather of house music," this sunny and keyboard-heavy take on "Blind" brings in a dancing positivity the ever-brooding, Depeche Mode- and NIN-loving Hurts rarely show. To fully appreciate how uncharacteristically sunny Hurts sound, check out the original's new video below.
