Paris Hilton Signs to Cash Money

May 22, 2013

According to Huffington Post, hotel heiress and "That's Hot" trademarker Paris Hilton has signed with Cash Money (or CM imprint Young Money—it's still unclear) to release her second album, reportedly out this summer. Which is weird. And cool? Or terribly awful, depending on how you look at it. Her debut Paris came out on her own vanity label Heiress Records, so at the very least, this is an upgrade for her. In Ibiza to promote The Bling Ring, the new Sofia Coppola movie inspired by a series of robberies that went down at her LA mansion, she told reporters: “This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris said. “It’s really going to be house music.” No details on the release date yet, but listen to a collaboration she put out last November with Cash Money Young Money's Lil Wayne for a possible taste of what to expect. No statement thus far from Birdman on the matter, but our only question is: how does Nicki Minaj feel about all of this?
