With "Bulldozer Rituals," Portland, Oregon-based Kevin Palmer, aka Best Available Technology, has built a sludgy track from fractured tones that rise from a murk of post-RZA broken piano keys and decaying drum machines. It's a relentlessly heavy couple of minutes, closer to a trip gone bad than any sort of positive moment, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of sonic territories to explore while listening. The song comes from Best Available Technology's upcoming EP, out August 26th on Styles Upon Styles.
