Supreme’s Fall Collection Is Not For Jive Turkeys

August 19, 2013

With a model that could've easily been an extra in Good Times or Coolie High, Supreme’s new fall/winter 2013 lookbook channels the lanky and laid back vibes of J.J. Evans in all of his 1970s glory. The street wear brand skillfully mines the late '70s to early '80s era for trends to update, like the wrinkled wide-lapeled shearling coat, the leather bucket hat and soft corduroy pull-overs. Though they''ve dabbled in nostalgia here, Supreme still finds a way to keep their feet firmly planted in the present day with splotchy tie-dyed overcoats and their famous logo-bearing coach jackets. Repping for understated fresh dudes, and accessorizing with a few simple gold chains, Supreme's guy for fall is neither chump or schlump. Check out our faves below.
