It hasn't been the easiest year for footwork-wunderkind-turned-AutoTune-aficionado DJ Nate. That hasn't stopped the Chicago producer and rapper from putting out a near-constant stream of new music on his YouTube channel, ranging in the past couple weeks alone from ringtone-ready bop to straight R&B. On "Got Alot of Hataz," Nate indirectly addresses being robbed and assaulted this summer, brushing his shoulders off over somber piano. It's so good that it almost makes me forget about the Chief Keef remix of Nate's hit "Gucci Goggles" that never materialized, despite being hinted at over six months ago.
