FADER PREMIERE

I love Flight Facilities' original "Clair De Lune"—the video is above. It reminds me of The Field's "A Paw in My Face" a bit in the way it so delicately and prettily unfurls, and you can't tell whether it's coming or going, whether the sun is rising or setting. I kind of wish there was an all-in trance remix. This isn't that, though it's a fine take—Norway's talented Prins Thomas provides a steady bass line and kick, really hitting his stride in the final third when he brings in some of the original's quiet and strings. The remix 12-inch, which also features a great take by Crazy P, is available now via Future Classic, with a digital version out October 22nd via Glassnote.
