Owner Operator Makes Colorful Cold-Weather Gear

Owner Operator makes clothes that would work in a ski resort or a city.

Truly the flashiest dressers in the world are actually to be found at ski resorts and mountain villages—have you seen snowboard gear? It's always the most flagrant nylon you could ever imagine, reflecting off fresh white snow like neon lights: this lime green snow bib from ski company Salomon, for example. New York-based Owner Operator maintains the cold weather bonafides and the aura of winter flash of snow gear but makes it chicer. The whole collection, produced right here in NYC, is pretty great, but we're particularly obsessed with their 111 Pant, which comes in bright yellow with things we've never heard of like 2-layer laminated nylon shell, abrasion paneling, boot gaiters and other blizzard needs, but might just be smart enough to also wear out to bar crawls here in the city that happen to be in the middle of February.
