Yesterday in New York City, Solange rode around in a custom, tricked-out Lambo, selling advance copies of Saint Heron, the excellent R&B compilation she curated, out the trunk. Out today, the comp is the first release from Solange's Columbia imprint Saint Records, and features FADER favorites like Sampha, Kelela, Jhene Aiko and Cassie. The latter's contribution, her first new music since her springtime RockaByeBaby mixtape, is mellow-synth slow burner that's written and produced by Solange. In conversation with Solange on Solange's new music blog, Cassie says the collaboration was a breeze: "Everything flowed so naturally and the session did not feel like work at all."
