Ricky Eat Acid, "Inside your house; it will swallow us too" MP3

Sam Ray—also of Julia Brown, Teen Suicide, Starry Cat—has long cranked out odd, melodic, cassette-warped ambient music as Ricky Eat Acid, though his work on that tip seems to be reaching critical mass with these heaven-kissed tracks from his forthcoming album, Three Love Songs. A few songs have come out so far, and they’re sick as shit. On the latest, "Inside your house; it will swallow us too," first shared on No Fear of Pop, I picture the piano as a person, embarrassedly backing through a doorway, scuffing its heel and nearly tripping. Seems real. The album comes out January 21st, the first vinyl release of Orchid Tapes.
