Pusha T and Rick Ross teach tough life lessons in the chilling new video for “Hold On.”

In need of a little inspiration-- and maybe a good cry? Pusha T and Rick Ross have got you. Their new video for "Hold On" -- a Kanye West and Hudson Mohawke production off of My Name is My Name that begins with a good thirty seconds of auto-tuned 'Ye yodel -- finds the Clipse rapper and Maybach boss in a drab Hollywood, Florida, room, preaching the perils of the drug game to a bunch of younger guys. "I sold more dope than I sold records," Push raps, recognizing the temptation before offering up another way: "But I'm a thinker, methodic in my motives/ I motivate to put my niggas into motors." Ross has a little more fun with his turn, but his point is the same. The video ends on a somber note with a candle lit vigil for victims of injustice, like Trayvon Martin and Oscar Grant.

Pusha told MTV that the Dre Films directed video is meant to motivate: "The concept of 'Hold On' is me and Ross performing in front of some neighborhood guys, lecturing and basically telling the people of the neighborhood -- our peers, essentially -- that we're here for them and we're doing this for them."
