Video: Dreezy f. Lil Herb, Zmoney, and KD Young Cocky, “Ain’t For None”

December 18, 2013

One of my favorite things about recent Chicago rap is the lack of a set-in-stone gender binary for blustery, tough-talking raps. Rapper/singer double threat Dreezy continues this tradition on the official remix of her song "Ain't For None." (The original version featured King L and appeared on her August mixtape, DSM.) She's recruited some of Chicago's most promising 2013 rookies—Lil Herb, KD Young Cocky and FADER rapper to watch Zmoney—but she outshines them all, seething and flexing over D. Brooks' production. Meanwhile, Chief Keef's habit of concealing mystery beverages in Dunkin Donuts cups is honored.
