Études hosts their first runway show, including some signature prints and baggy pants for the ladies.

Greenpoint-by-way-of-Paris menswear brand Études has been quietly taking over boutiques all over New York City, and you can spot their squiggly, painterly prints and loose, devil-may-care silhouettes on kids all over town. It only makes sense to grow and grow: this week, they staged their first big runway show in Paris for their new fall collection, plus they debuted some women's looks, which means you're going to start to see their relaxed, unique point of view on as many ladies as you already do gents. The collection is classic Études cool, inspired, according to WWD, by "rappers and heavy metal fans," which in the minds of designers Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egrymeans, means baggy leather trousers, graphic black and whites and signature out-of-this-world prints. Check it out below, and for more on the brand, read our 2013 interview with Arbet.
