Mac DeMarco, "Passing Out Pieces"

Mac DeMarco announced today that he will release his upcoming album, Salad Days,  on April 1st. The announcement came via this promotional video, which appears to have been shot on a Sony Betacam. Salad Days is DeMarco's second full-length release, the first being his 2012 LP, Mac DeMarco 2. Dude hails from the urban tundra of Edmonton, Alberta, and lead single "Passing Out Pieces" recalls what Sgt. Pepper's might have sounded like had it been written at the altar of a wintry Canadian hearth. Look for the new record on Captured Tracks, and be sure to check out DeMarco's performance for FADER's Brooklyn Bound this past September.
