Video: Breezy Montana f. Dlow, “Alligator”

Chicago bop forefather Breezy Montana releases his first single and video of the year, “Alligator,” with dancing from his younger brother Dlow.

Breezy Montana is one of the guiding forces of the bop movement on Chicago's West Side. After releasing local favorite "Havin Shit" and seminal 2013 tape Rise 2 Fame, his first single and video of the year is "Alligator," probably the first rap song to use See you later, alligator as a hook. It's a family affair: Breezy's cousin (and one of the foremost bop producers) Cicero On Da Beat is responsible for the track's sparkling arpeggios and brother Dlow bops outside of a Citgo in the video. This week, Dlow's also been bopping on TV; watch him teach Steve Harvey and some awkward morning show hosts how to dance.
