Here's the first glimpse at Gen F alum Vince Staples' sophomore project, Shyne Coldchain II, his first solo release since 2011's Shyne Coldchain Vol.I. "Nate" sounds like light-hearted cruising material, thanks largely to breezy production from Scoop Deville (of Kendrick's "The Recipe" and "Poetic Justice"); but it sees Long Beach native Staples contemplating the implications of his youthful awe of his father's gangster ways. He's assisted by James Fauntleroy who, along with Jhene Aiko, takes one of the few guest spots on Shyne Coldchain II's tracklist.
