FADER PREMIERE

Tel Aviv trio Garden City Movement, named after a really interesting, self-sufficient and socialist method of urban planning, are currently wrapping up their second EP, so they're tying up the last loose ends of their first, Entertainment, out now via BLDG5. Today's new video for their old track "Move On," directed by Michael Moshonov and Lael Utnik, reminds me of the one for "Windmill Wedding," except with American Apparel and making out (to a maybe uncomfortable degree, coming from two male directors and an all-male band; a quote from Moshonov is below). Song's gorgeous, though; their vocal-pitching's without peer.

MOSHONOV: The video was made with love. In today's progressive world, it's still hard for people to accept love between the same sex. This clip goes to show exactly that. It also shows that even if a heart's broken it was still worth feeling love even if it was too short.
