FADER PREMIERE

Not to be confused with the Brooklyn electronic label Astro Nautico, Astronautica is the solo alias of Edrina K. Martinez, a 21-year-old Los Angeles producer and Daedelus protégé who has a four-track EP coming out next week. Waikiki, she says, was tracked in Hawaii while seeking shelter from a tropical storm, though "How It's Gonna Be," which features vocals from Albanian-American crooner JMSN, is the kind of harmony-filled slow jam that hits hardest when your brain is a bit sun-fried. Waikiki is out March 25th via Alpha Pup.
