Tinashe has been bubbling for a while, but this feels like her star-making moment: here's her new video for "2 On," a Schoolboy Q-featuring club number with DJ Mustard on the beat. The LA-via-Kentucky singer's vibe is typically murkier, more suited for dimly lit bedrooms than packed clubs (see last year's excellent Black Water tape), but here she's unconcerned about anything but friends, money and dancing her ass off, joyfully enacting all the boss bitch qualities she teased in 2012's "Boss.". The video's a kind of 2014 version of Cassie's now legendary "Me & U," but more me, you, and everyone we know: it's not a private affair, it's a party. Tinashe's currently working on her RCA debut; in addition to Mustard, Mike WiLL Made It, Dev Hynes and Boi-1da are reportedly involved.
