At 3:30 in the morning on March 28, Atlanta rap trio Migos were involved in an exchange of gunfire in Miami, Florida according to CBS Miami. Migos and their entourage were on the I-95 southbound highway in a party van heading back to their hotel when a black car pulled up next to them and opened fire. One passenger from the rap group's van returned fire.

At least a dozen rounds were fired from the attacking vehicle though there are conflicting reports as to whether anyone was hit. Some sources say Migos' bodyguard was shot in the leg and was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. However, according to TMZ, Migos' manager says no one in the van was injured.

The group was scheduled to perform at Cafe Iguana Pines that evening, but Florida Highway Patrol Officer Joe Sanchez reported to WSVN that the show was cancelled following a disagreement with management. CBS reports that the managers of Cafe Iguana Pines deny scheduling Migos to perform there. Local police are still seeking information regarding the occupants of the black car who remain unidentified.
