Vogue cover star Kanye West was scheduled to round out his Yeezus tour with a run of shows Down Under in May, but it seems something more urgent has come up– something along the lines of a “highly anticipated new studio album” that’s not going to finish itself, that is. According to a Roc Nation release, Kanye has “regretfully postponed” his upcoming tour dates in Australia in order to meet “unexpected timing requirements” related to the release of his forthcoming Yeezus follow-up, which he’s said he hopes will be ready for release sometime this summer. Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia. The tour dates originally scheduled from May 2 to May 11, 2014 will now be played from September 5 to September 15, 2014.
